Freshman class...

Here are some young rising stars that we will be representing in the future. Keep you eyes peeled and rosters trimmed to make room for these guys when they hit the league. We will keep you informed with any information involving these players through the process of them making it to the GLB Big Time!

B. Shaw (QB)

Stands strong and proud.

Scouts say this 6'3" 215 pound gunslinger out of Louisianna Tech may need a year or two to develop, but once he does he will dominate the league. B. Shaw (QB)

Greene Joe Mean (DT)

Relax and clear your mind.

Known as a gentle giant to his family and teammates, this 6'4", 280 pound lineman get's his nasty nickname for his on-field play. Often feared by entire offenses, nobody is safe when Greene is at his best. A huge rookie prospect for GLB teams, he may come at a hefty price tag; there are already develpment talks with a well known soft drink company for international televised commercial spots. Greene Joe Mean (DT)

Harry Franco (HB)

Immaculate.

Known for his "shoe-string" catches and elusive feet, Franco is a higly sought after young star. Along with great hands and ankle-breaking moves, this 6'2", 230 pound bruiser also has what he refers to as a "steel" shoulder, "I'm not afraid of contact with anyone", said Franco at the latest Penn State Pro-Day. Harry Franco (HB)

Melvin Blount (DB)

Prototype.

Blount has "ideal size, speed, and quickness, plus the toughness and mental ability to adjust his coverage tactics" to rule changes that favored receivers."-Profootballhof.com

From Sothern University, this 6'3" prototype corner is ready to make an impact on GLB. "Magic" Melvin Blount (CB)

Chief Rooney (NT)

Leader.

"The Chief" is the anchor in every organization he is a member. Although he suffers from a skin disease that makes him appear 50 years older than he really is (his affinity for cigars doesn't help) he is of sound body and is a larger than life presence on the line. Certainly one of the best NT's coming up, he will be one to keep an eye on. "THE CHIEF" Rooney (DT)

Chucky DaCoach (G)

Winner.

A proven winner, DaCoach is a mountain of a man, and experts think he will be an outstanding run blocker in this league. Chucky DaCoach (G)

Webby Webster (C)

Iron Man.

This "IRON" man is just another great Center to enter the league under our umbrella. He is known for his quickness off the line and generates enough power to move any pile. A great prospect for any team that needs to anchor their O-line with a tried and true competitor.Webby Webster (C)
